We have a 1999 Mitsubishi Ralliart-spec Lancer EVO VI street version of the World Rally Championship car. This vehicle is an RS-2 version which has a larger track width over the RS, different gearing, 17" custom lightweight OZ wheels, and huge Brembo brakes as well as an aluminum hood and lightened auto glass. The EVO VI also features a Rally-spec Titanium Turbo. All of these features plus full-time four wheel drive equal some serious performance without any modifications. This RS-2 can launch from 0-60 in the low 4s and continue onto the 1/4 mile in the mid 12s. The EVO VI may be the last of a dying breed as its predecessor the EVO VII and the VIII for the States get heavier and with that slower. This is thought to be why four-time WRC World Champion Tommi Makinen left Mitsubishi shortly after the VII was introduced.
