  Warranty Policy Information

All products and accessories installed by an authorized Auto Trim DESIGN distributor are warranted by participating distributors in the U.S. and Canada for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first), to the original purchaser. This warranty covers product failure and does not cover typical wear, weathering or incidental damage from road hazards. This warranty is not transferable and all liability for incidental or consequential loss or damage or expense directly or indirectly arising from the installation or use of such product(s) is excluded unless otherwise prohibited by State or Provincial law(s).

This Three (3) Year/36,000 Mile Warranty may be superseded by individual manufacturer’s warranties on certain products (parts only). Please consult your local Auto Trim DESIGN distributor for details.

This Three (3) Year/36,000 Mile Warranty shall be null and void if:

A. Installation was not performed by an authorized Auto Trim DESIGN distributor.

B. Product(s) installed is not approved or offered for sale by the Auto Trim DESIGN network of distributors.

C. Service or warranty has been attempted or performed by someone other than an authorized Auto Trim DESIGN distributor.

D. Customer failed to use or maintain the product(s) in a reasonable fashion or in accord with instruction(s) provided by Auto Trim DESIGN or the product’s manufacturer.

E. Damage or failure of product was caused by vandalism, collision or "Acts of God".

Upon inspection of the alleged defect, Auto Trim DESIGN will determine the cause, fill out a Warranty Claim form and administrate the replacement of such product. Please Note: This warranty covers product only and does not cover removal and reinstallation costs as well as outside services/work such as painting, equipment rental, subcontract work, freight and postage/handling. Such costs shall be paid for by the customer requesting warranty work to be performed.

For products that are purchased over-the-counter or online from Auto Trim DESIGN and installed by someone other than an authorized Auto Trim DESIGN distributor, the warranties for such products shall be honored to the extent as stated or provided by the manufacturer.

Manufacturer warranties shall be null and void if:

A. Customer failed to use or maintain the product(s) in a reasonable fashion or in accord with instruction(s) provided by Auto Trim DESIGN or the product’s manufacturer.

B. Damage or failure of product was caused by vandalism, collision or "Acts of God".

Upon receipt of your Warranty Authorization Request our Customer Service Department will review the information submitted  and, once approved, a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number will be issued. This RGA number must be placed on the outside of the returned package along with a copy of the original Sales Invoice, Auction Receipt or E-mail Notification of Purchase. autotrimdesign.com reserves the right to inspect all returned goods in an effort to determine the validity of the Warranty Authorization Request. All returned parts must be sent freight prepaid.
